Terms & Conditions

By authorizing work, accepting services, or making payment, the Customer agrees to the following terms:

Governing Law:

This agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in Ontario courts. Nothing herein limits consumer rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

Pricing & HST:

All invoices are subject to 13% HST. Standard rates apply Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. After-hours, weekend, and holiday work is billed at emergency premium rates disclosed at dispatch.

Payment Terms & Liens:

Payment is due upon completion of work or receipt of invoice. Overdue balances incur interest at 2% per month (24% annually). The Customer is responsible for collection and legal costs. Under the Ontario Construction Act, Costa Plumbing Systems Ltd. reserves the right to file a construction lien within 60 days of last supply of services or materials. All installed materials remain company property until paid in full.

Drain Cleaning Disclaimer:

Drain cleaning and hydro-jetting are performed under blind conditions. We are not liable for failures caused by pre-existing defects, roots, collapsed, corroded, or damaged piping, including clay, cast iron, or orangeburg lines. If equipment becomes stuck due to pipe conditions, the Customer is responsible for extraction, excavation, and repair costs. We are not responsible for sewage cleanup or restoration.

Existing Plumbing Conditions:

Older or fragile plumbing systems may fail during normal repair procedures. Costa Plumbing Systems Ltd. is not responsible for leaks, cracks, or failures resulting from pre-existing deterioration.

Access & Restoration:

We are not responsible for restoring drywall, concrete, flooring, tile, landscaping, cabinets, or other finishes disturbed to access plumbing systems. Customers must identify private underground utilities prior to excavation. No warranty is provided on customer-supplied materials or fixtures.

Limited Warranty:

A 1-year limited labor warranty applies to new installations and structural repairs only. 

No warranty is provided on drain cleaning, camera inspections, or temporary drain clearing. Manufacturer warranties apply to supplied fixtures and equipment.

Customer Authorization

I confirm the work completed by Costa Plumbing Systems Ltd. has been reviewed and accepted. 

I acknowledge responsibility for full payment of this invoice, including applicable HST.
